Women Empowerment

The long-term sustainability of peacebuilding depends extremely on the improvement of people’s daily living conditions. The majority of Africans in rural areas live in extreme poverty. In cases, people join rebellion armies and criminal groups because of a lack of opportunity. That is why SANDJI CDC will strive to raise the level of consciousness of the populations in Africa while creating fields of opportunities by putting together cooperatives, funding individuals, and group projects through microloans for Women and the youth. SANDJI CDC understands that Women and Young people in Africa suffer the most during times of conflict, and continue to be victims of cruel abuses.

They frequently face severe barriers to self-sufficiency and to economic development.  That is why SANDJI CDC wants to improve the lives of many women and the youth in Africa by empowering them through micro-loans and entrepreneurship. As a solution, SANDJI CDC supports micro-loan /grant initiatives through cooperatives and group projects while emphasizing integrity and accountability. In addition, SANDJI CDC creates group cooperatives for women to serve as forums for education, networking, and support as they become more entrepreneurial.
