Sabouna is a small village located in the far remote area of Ivory Coast. About 4 thousands people live in Sabouna. There is neither running water nor electricity in the village. However, the villagers have organized themselves so that they are able to school their children. When Sandji team visited the facility in 2009, we promised to do our best to make sure that the children of Sabouna are given a better learning conditions and resources to grow cognitively.
Sandji CDC is requesting funding to build a primary school in the village of SABOUNA, which is located in the center west of Cote-d’Ivoire. Sandji understands that children are the foundation of Africa’s social, political and economic development. Primary school enrollments are very low in Africa, especially in the villages. SABOUNA’s population is estimated at about 3 thousand people; and the majority of the children do not have access to primary education.
